Redux Labs helps plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and other medical practices improve how their websites are understood in search results and AI-generated answers. Our AI SEO work combines technical SEO, clear patient-focused content, accurate business information, and structured data that matches the page.
What are SEO, AEO, and GEO?
SEO improves a website’s discoverability in search engines. Answer engine optimization (AEO) organizes content around useful, direct answers to specific questions. Generative engine optimization (GEO) focuses on making reliable information easier for AI search systems to find, understand, and cite. These approaches share the same foundation: accessible pages, relevant content, and evidence readers can trust.
How we approach AI search for medical practices
- Review technical access. Check indexing, redirects, canonical URLs, sitemaps, mobile performance, and crawler access so important practice pages can be discovered.
- Map patient questions to services. Organize procedure and location pages around the questions prospective patients ask, including candidacy, recovery, consultations, and how to choose a qualified provider.
- Make answers clear and verifiable. Use descriptive headings, concise summaries, and useful supporting detail. Clinical statements should be reviewed by qualified medical professionals and supported by appropriate sources.
- Clarify the practice’s identity. Keep provider credentials, services, contact details, locations, and business profiles consistent. Add relevant structured data that reflects visible content.
- Improve supporting media. Provide descriptive image captions and alt text, and transcripts for useful videos. Use patient images and testimonials only with appropriate permission.
- Measure and refine. Review search performance, identifiable referral visits, and consultation conversions. Record the query, platform, date, and location for sampled AI answers so observations can be compared over time.
Do AI answers require special schema?
Google states that AI Overviews and AI Mode use the same foundational SEO requirements as Search and do not require special AI schema or an AI text file. Structured data should describe the actual organization, service, article, or other content on the page. It cannot guarantee a recommendation or citation. See Google’s guidance on AI features and websites.
How do we measure progress?
We evaluate qualified organic visits, relevant search queries, landing-page engagement, and consultation inquiries where tracking is available. Google includes traffic from its AI search features in overall Web search reporting in Search Console. Referral analytics and documented answer samples provide additional context, but they do not reveal every AI impression or a complete history of patients’ chatbot queries.
Examples from our work
The following archived search screenshots were published on this site in June 2025 for Dr. Mihail Climov and Monarch Plastic Surgery. They illustrate results observed at that time. Search results vary by query, location, date, and platform; a screenshot does not establish current rankings or prove which change caused a result.

Can you guarantee inclusion in AI recommendations?
No. Search engines and AI platforms choose their own sources, and results can change. Our work improves the technical quality, clarity, and credibility of the information available about your practice. A useful strategy measures business outcomes over time and keeps expectations tied to evidence.
